Building No. 2 Classroom Building

Designed with “small building” as its theme, the building has a tiled roof as its landmark. The building also holds multi-purpose highly sound-insulated classrooms equipped with audio-visual equipment.

Building No. 10

The building houses the facilities of the Graduate School of Law that started in April 2004. The Graduate School of Law has another facility in the Katsurazaka building located 4 minutes walk from Shirokane Campus. *The photo shows inside of a practice courtroom.


Main Building (Hon-kan)

This is the heart of the university. It houses offices essential for your campus life, including Academic Affairs Office, Student Affairs Office, Career Center, and library. The Internet is accessible from almost any location on campus through LAN connection.

The National Center For University Entrance Examinations is located at the right side of the entrance.


Hepburn Hall (Graduate School)

The basement contains language and computer labs, the 1st floor is the faculty lounge, the 2nd through 4th floors are graduate school facilities, and the 5th through 11th floors are individual offices.


Institute of the Faculty of Psychology - Psychological Clinic Research Center

This is an educational and research institute of the university. This is the training center for students who are in the Major of Psychology of the Graduate School of Psychology, and also serves the community.


Palette Zone Shirokane

Life and culture space for the students. Relaxing space such as a dining lounge and an inner courtyard, and activity space, including an art hall, group rooms, and arena, are located here.

Meiji Gakuin Chapel

Completed in 1916, the chapel has been later extended with two wings. Majestic tunes of a Walcker pipe organ from Germany and serene hymns fill the chapel and purify the worshipers. (The chapel was designated as a tangible cultural asset by Minato Ward, and as a “Historical Buildings and Sites of Scenic Importance” in 2002 by Tokyo Metropolitan Government.)


Memorial Hall

This is a neo-gothic building built in 1890. The chapel on the 1st floor is a quiet place for meditation. (The chapel has been designated as a tangible cultural asset by Minato Ward, and as a “Historical Buildings and Sites of Scenic Importance” in 2002 by Tokyo Metropolitan Government.)


Imbrie Hall

Built in 1889, the hall is a valuable building and has one of foremost history among currently existing missionary halls in Japan. It is the former residence of Dr. William Imbrie. For 2 years, starting in 1995, the building was restored with original materials. (The hall has been designated as a national Important Cultural Property and a “Historical Buildings and Sites of Scenic Importance” in 2002 by Tokyo Metropolitan Government.)
