Persons wishing only to browse materials
When you visit, you need only complete the procedures at the circulation counter for entering the library in order to use it. Please present personal identification (e.g., certificate of residence issued within last 3 months, driver’s license, insurance card, passport).
Persons wishing to borrow books
Please present personal identification (e.g., certificate of residence issued within last 3 months, driver’s license, insurance card, passport) and apply for an MG Card (library ID card) at the circulation counter. You can pick up your MG Card in about 2 weeks.
Period of validity:Until end of each school year
Services
It is possible to use both the Shirokane and Yokohama Campus Libraries.

Browsing materials in the library
You may browse books, journals, newspapers, audio-visual materials and microfilms

Borrowing books

Returns
Please return books to the circulation counter or the book-drop by the due date. However, books returned to the book-drop will be considered returned on the next opening day of the library. Books can be returned to either the Shirokane or Yokohama Campus Library. If you have any overdue books, you will not be able to borrow any additional books. Your borrowing rights will be restored the day after the overdue books are returned.

Letter of Introduction
If you wish to use any materials held in another university library, state the material's name, call number, material ID, and desired usage date to apply for a letter of introduction at the counter.

MyLibrary
MyLibrary is an online service portal site provided by the Meiji Gakuin University Library. This service can be used for return deadline extensions, reservation applications, usage status confirmations, and other matters. Log in with the Password shown on the card issued by the library. Services available include inter-site requests, reservation applications, lending/reservation status confirmations, return deadline extensions and other matters. The library will send all communication to your registered email address.
