OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) is a computer-based system that enables online searches for books and materials held in the Meiji Gakuin University. Meiji Gakuin University Library is not available for general public use. If non-members of the university wish to view the collections, the necessary application procedures must be completed.
Meiji Gakuin University Institutional Repository (Japanese only)
Meiji Gakuin University Institutional Repository is a database containing details of research results produced by the university, with the aim of publishing them free of charge within the university and also to the wider world. The data contained in this database can be accessed from any internet-connected computer. Papers published in academic journals and periodicals, and other published papers in bulletins and research materials can all be viewed here.
University Research Centers / Department Research Centers
University Research Centers and Department Research Centers hold lectures and research seminars that are also open to non-members of the university. Furthermore, they issue their own publications such as research bulletins and research center annual reports, some of which can be searched using OPAC. The various publications are available online to the public, at each institution’s own website and also via the Institutional Repository.

Master theses and doctoral dissertations
Doctoral dissertations can be searched using OPAC. Master theses are not handled as items in the university library collection. They are managed by the Graduate School Office, but are not released to the general public, and cannot be viewed.
Library portal system: MyLibrary
Even non-members of the university who have registered as users of the university library and have obtained an account in the MyLibrary system can access their MyLibrary page from off-campus. In addition to various search functions, the MyLibrary system provides information search links that can be used both inside and outside the university.
