The successful candidate will be required to teach the following undergraduate course in English:Regional Development and World Economy
The candidate is also expected to take in charge of a certain number of other lectures and seminar courses. Most will be taught in English, but some are anticipated to be in Japanese. For this reason, the candidate should be prepared to give lectures in Japanese within a few years after the appointment.

Application requirements
The candidate is required to have a Ph.D. In exceptional cases, a candidate without a Ph.D. may also be considered if the applicant has an equivalent level of knowledge and has demonstrated research and professional experience.
This position is open to applications of any nationality or any language. Applicants should have a high level of proficiency in English that enables them carry out their university teaching and administrative work. Applicants who are not native speakers of Japanese should have reached a level of competence in the Japanese that will allow them to participate in university administrative work and to give guidance to students.

3)Reprints or copies of the circled three publications. (Attach a summary in Japanese [about 1,000 characters] for each of the three publications.)
4)A short essay on the role of the teachers in college education (about 2,000 characters if written in Japanese or 1000 words if written in English).
