Kashiwa Sato
Art Director/Creative Director
Born in Tokyo in 1965.Graduated from Department of Graphic Design at Tama Art University in 1989.
Sato undertakes a wide range of activities from the development of products and brands, to CI projects, products, shops, space, and advertising campaigns.He was in charge of numerous well known commercials, beginning with "Honda Step Wagon." He produced a series of promotional campaigns for TBC using brand-new methods of expression that attracted constant attention. Another popular commercial was for Parco Grand Bazaar. As art director for the brand "Kirin Chibi Lemon," he handled everything from product development to packaging and advertising. Sato has continued to produce artwork promoting SMAP's new brand image and presence, from the SMAP advertising campaign, which used only red, blue and yellow, "SMAP," to "MIJ." In addition, he has handled everything from product development to packaging and advertising, for the "Gokunama" and "Namakuro" (Kirin Brewery) and "TAISHITSU-SUI" (Kirin Beverages). He was in charge of space direction of "TSUTAYA TOKYO ROPPONGI." He displays creative talent that offers new possibilities in art direction. Recent activities include a CI project for the cable/satellite music channel Music-on! TV, along with art work for pop music groups Mr. Children and My Little Lover.At present he is working on various projects to demonstrate his talent as creative director on CI projects and kindergarten renovations, designing logo for the J-league soccer team "Vissel Kobe," and working on brand development and product designs.
