International Peace Research Institute

We research a broad sense of irenology including development, poverty, human rights, environment and gender using international networks. The theme of our annual international symposium in 2004 was "Southern farmers in globalization - Alternatives have come." We promote research projects such as globalization, reduction of nuclear weapons, non-violent solutions for conflicts, and peace education and organize integrated seminars (provided by our center) such as the "Hiroshima-Nagasaki seminar" and other open workshops. Additionally, we publish our bulletin, "Prime" (semi-annual) and booklet, "Think about South Korea."
