Education Project Assistance System

Developing a System to Support Superior Education Efforts

Meiji Gakuin University has been implementing an education project assistance system as one of its efforts to provide a solid education.

The goal is to offer assistance to the unique and superior “Education Project” being carried out by respective faculty or course (or department or unit) by subsidizing their activities expenses, so that the projects may further mature through their activities and advance to become “Education Projects” that represent the university. Moreover, it does not stop at offering subsidies but also advertises the efforts of the projects so that it might lead to further enhancement and advancement of the university’s education and promote faculty development.

This framework originated as its predecessor, the University-Wide GP Support System of 2006 academic year, and was reborn in the 2007 academic year as the Education Project Assistance System with the goal of developing into a more solid program.

Some programs that were developed through this system have been selected as Good Practice University Educational Support Programs sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology.
