ICU (International Christian
ICU has access information with a map: access (English) アクセス (Japanese)
Musashi-Sakai is the nearest Japan Railway (JR) station to ICU.
- From Narita Airport (for most international flights) to

From Narita Airport to Tokyo Station
There are many ways to reach Musashi-Sakai from Narita Airport
(including limousine bus to Kichijoji where you can change to the Chuo
Line), but the Narita Express is the most convenient and the fastest
way. Take the Narita Express either to Tokyo
Station and change to the Chuo Line and go to Musashi-Sakai station, or
take the Narita Express to Shinjuku, and change there to the Chuo Line
for Musashi Sakai. Musashi Sakai is one stop after Mitaka. In either
case, the trip will take just under two hours. See the Narita Express

* First buy a ticket to Musashi-Sakai at
JR Narita Airport Station together with a
ticket for the Narita Express to Tokyo Station (or to Shinjuku Station)
with seat reservation. If you purchase the ticket with a
credit card, be sure to show your credit card at the very beginning of
theå transaction to make clear how you want to pay.
From Haneda Airport to
Take the Tokyo Monorail to
Hamamatsu-cho Station from Haneda Airport Station. It
runs every 10 minutes and takes about 20 minutes.
At Hamamatsu-cho Station, take the JR
Yamanote line (green line, going for Tokyo) at
platform No. 1/No.2. Tokyo station is the third station from
Hamamatsu-cho: Shinbashi, Yurakucho, and Tokyo. It takes
minutes. JR Yamanote line runs every 4 minutes. At Tokyo Station you
can transfer to the Chuo Line. Get off at Musashi Sakai.

for Musashi-Sakai at Hamamatsu-cho Station.
From Tokyo Station to
Go to the platform No.1/No.2 on the
first floor in Tokyo station and take the
Chuo-line Rapid (not Special Rapid) to Musashi-Sakai (30 - 35
the Chuo-line is an orange color train and there is an orange
symbol by the platform entrance. The two stations preceding
Musashi-Sakai are Kichijoji and Mitaka (then Musashi-Sakai). The
Chuo-line Rapid runs every 5 - 10 minutes.
At Musashisakai Station, go out from
the south exit, (go down the right-hand stairs
after you go out from the ticket gate). The Odakyu Bus Stop for ICU is
located to the left of the bottom of the stairs, in front of the Police
Station to ICU
Take the #93 bus for ICU at No.2 bus
stop (12 minutes). The fare is 210 yen. Buses leave around every 15
minutes. Be sure to go to the last stop (shuten). We will ask the
Odakyu Bus Company to operate extra buses on the mornings of conference
days. Taxis cost around 970 yen.
Directions to University
There is a campus map close to the ICU
Bus Stop. University Hall is located in the middle of the campus, about
a 3-5 minute walk from the bus stop. Signs will be posted leading
conference participants from the bus stop to University Hall. All
sessions will be held in the University Hall. The Registration Desk will be
set up in the Central Entrance to University Hall.
