General
Registration to Attend the Conference
General registration to attend the
conference will open on April 20.
It is
possible to register online until June 10.
From June 11 credit card and
bank
transfer payments will be closed.
Online registration for presenters, chairs, or
discussants begins and ends earlier. If your name will be listed on the
conference program as a participant in one of the sessions, please use
the separate
registration page.
General registration involves two steps:
1) paying the conference fee and, if you plan to attend, the reception
fee; and
2) sending confirmation of your payment to ASCJ.

A receipt of your payment
will be given to you when you
come to the conference. Please note that letters of invitation can only
be issued to
persons involved in one of the conference panels.
From June 11 credit
card and bank
transfer payments will be closed. You may pay the onsite conference
fee of 5,000 yen (2,000 yen in the case of
graduate students) on the day of the conference. Tickets to the reception may not
be available on the day.
ASCJ
is not in a position to
provide financial support
for travel or accommodation costs, nor
can it act as sponsor for those
who need visas to enter Japan. Persons who will be
traveling to Japan
for the first time should check the visa requirements well in
advance.
