Language of Instruction [no mark]-Japanese, [#]-Japanese & English, [*]-English
The
courses listed above are open to international students enrolled at MGU and
taught in English (unless indicated otherwise). Many other courses require the
permission of the instructor, evidence of appropriate prerequisite courses, and
an intermediate level of Japanese ability. Students with advanced Japanese
ability may also choose from a wider range of courses offered the various
faculties and departments on both campuses.
Classes
normally meet once or twice a week for a ninety
minutes for a total of between 12-14 sessions per
semester. The various levels of the Japanese language program, however, meet for
at least 4 ninety minutes
sessions per week. Classes are held on the Tokyo and Yokohama campus five days
of the week.
International
students are expected to register for a minimum of 12 credits per semester. The
average load is 14-16 credits per semester.
