日産，ホンダ，マツダのショールームに足を延ばす。 ＳＷが狙い目だったので， お話を聞くのは簡単であった。 値段的には，セダンより３割くらいは高いようである。 日産ではWingroad，ホンダではORTHIA，マツダではCapella Wagon,Premacyを試乗した。
We went to 3 showrooms. We wanted a stationwagon. It was easy to make a conversation with a salesman. Because we had a definite purpose. The price of the wagon-type is higher than the sedan-type. We saw and tried Wingroad in Nissan showroom, Orthia in Honda showroom and Capella Wagon in Mazda showroom.
　 　
どれも甲乙つけがたい感じであった。サービスが良かったのはマツダかな？！　 芋と米をもらったから。何か得した感じ。
We didn't decide which car we choose as our car. We thought that a salesperson in Mazda showroom was good. Mazda gave us some bags including rice and potatoes.

７日　
今日はどうしようかな？！ トヨタにでも行ってみようかな？！ 近くのトヨタカローラ店に行く。 ＥＤの修理を良くしてもらっている店である。 が，買うのは初めてである。 少し緊張。 Corolla Wagonを見る。
"What do we do, today?" We decided to go to Toyota showroom. We went to Toyota near our house. We often go to that shop. It is the base of our recent car, Carina ED. But it was our first visit to buy a new car. We didn't explain our feeling.

1500ccでパワーは劣る。しかし，安い値段を提示された。 ちょっと気持ちがぐらつく。 でもまだ決め手に欠ける。
We saw Corolla Wagon. "It is a nice car. It is a very reasonable price. But it is a lower power than 3 cars we've seen. " We didn't decide to buy it. We needed more time to buy it.

２週間，いろいろ考える。
マツダのCapella Wagonと トヨタのCorolla Wagonとの戦いになってきた。
We thought and thought. Our alternatives were Capella Wagon and Corolla Wagon.

女房も迷っている。
当然，僕も迷っている。
My wife didn't decide to buy a new car. And I didn't, either.

21日　
とりあえず，トヨタの店に行く。完全に決めるつもりではなかった。 しかし，話を聞いているうちに， さらに，前回よりも安い値段を提示されたので， 白のCorolla Wagonを購入することに決定し，仮契約を済ませる。 「意外と，簡単に決めてしまった！」というのが実感。 女房はかなり緊張していたようである。 車庫証明に関する書類をもらう。 マンションの大家さんを訪ね， 車庫証明に関する書類を書いてもらう。 トヨタの店に再度行き，契約を済ませる。 入金とかの書類をいただく。担当者は忙しかったので， 所長が応対してくれた。
We went to Toyota shop. At that time we had no idea to buy Corolla Wagon. But a salesperson gave us some information. Finally he gave us a lower price today than 7 days ago. We saw each other and decide to buy it. We chose a white car. We made a temporary contract with him. We we decided to buy a new car more quickly than I've thought. My wife said to me,"I am very nervous." I din't feel it. He giae us some documents. Then we went to our owner who has our parking lot. We asked her to sign. She made her signature on that document. After that, we went to that shop again. A manager recieved our document. And he gave us another document.

22日　
市役所に行き，印鑑証明(３通)， 戸籍抄本の付票を申請し，もらう。 この５年間に，４回引っ越したので， いろいろな書類をもらう羽目になった。 住民票の移動はこまめにやっていたが， 自動車の保管登録もこまめにやらなければならないようである。 お金を降ろしに，銀行に行く。 ３分の１を入金する。振込先の銀行なのに， 「窓口が良いですか，機械が良いですか」と言って， きょとんとされた。 トヨタの店に行き， 関連書類(印鑑証明，戸籍抄本の付票，自動車保険の入れ替え書類)を提出する。
We went to city-hall. We asked an official in the city-hall to make some documents of qualification. We have moved 4 times since 1996. As a result, we received many documents. Oh, my god! Then, we went to bank. We sent money to Toyota Dealer at that bank. But it wasn't a full price of our reserved car. We sent one thrid to Dealer. So, we submited some documents to Toyota Dealer.

26日　
トヨタから電話が入るが，僕は仕事で不在。５日を指定されたようである。
My wife received a call from Toyota Dealer. Dealer said to her, "I will bring your car on December 5th, 1999."

27日　
トヨタに電話を入れ，最終的に納車日を決定。 12月４日午後４時に決まる。
I phoned Toyota Dealer. I negotiated with a salesperson. At last, we decided a new day that we receive our car. The day was pm.4:OO on December 4th,1999.

28日　
トヨタに，自動車保険のコピーを持参する。
We broght a copy of our car insurance to Toyota.

29日　
新車の残金を振り込む。 車のウインカーのランプ切れを示すチクタクが始まった。 もう１週間も乗らないのにね。 女房がトヨタに行ったら，サービスしてくれない旨，言われたので， 帰ってきた。前のウインカーの大きいものが切れていた。 サイドのものは大丈夫であった。 ウインカーが消えると危ないので，オートバックスに行ってもらった。 500円券を持っていたので，150円くらいで済んだようである。 女房曰く，「あれなら私にもできるわ。300円損したわ」。
We sent the rest of money to Toyota Dealer. We found a poblem in our car. One bulve in the light was down. My wife went to Toyota. But Toyota didn't give her a free service. She went to Autobacks. Autobacks is a motorshop. They give a reasonable service to members. She asked a staff to change bulve. It cost about $6. She had a service ticket of $5. She really paid about $1. But she saw a scene of exchanging. When she came home, she said to me, "It is easy. I can do it."

12月４日　
今日は納車の日。 仕事から，急いで家に帰る。 女房がすでに掃除をしていたが，最後の仕上げをした。 記念にＥＤの写真をバカスカ写す。
４時前にトヨタから電話が入った。 丁寧な対応だった。４時きっかりに白のCalrolla Wagonが来た。 「すごいなあ！　きっちりしてるなあ！」

新しい鍵を３つもらい，説明を受ける。 緊張した。
It was a happy day. Because our new car came home. I came home from my office quickly. My wif had cleaned our old car. But I cleaned it again. I took some photograph as our memory. Toyota phoned us. He made a reconfirmation. He is a great salesperson. Just 4 o'clock, our new car came home. We were very happy. He gave 3 keys to us. Ans he explained to us. We were very nervous.

マットをつけてもらわなかったので， オートバックスに行き，マットを買う。 なかなか良い雰囲気。
少しドライブをして帰る。 ＣＤの調子もなかなか良いぞ。 Carina ＥＤの車高が低かったせいか， 席の位置がまだしっくりこない。 左前方も感覚的にわかりづらい。 もう少し乗らないと難しいかな？！
明日はどこかに行きたいものだ。
Our car had no matress. So we went to Autobacks to buy 4 matress. We had driven for a short time and then came home. Our car has CD. Good sound come. Our car is very nice. We hope we go to somewhere tomorrow.
