Elementary Particle Physics
Mathematical Physics

The Elementary particle physics is a part of the foundation of the natural sciences describing high energy phenomena and provides deeper understandings about the matters and gravity. It will also bring interesting predictions for future accelerator experiments and cosmological observations.

In this laboratory, from the viewpoint of mathematical physics, we mainly study about the string theory which realizes the matters and gravity as oscillations of the string. This enables us to deal with physics in the ultra high energy region such as the beginning of our universe.
