This site is made to introduce you to Hajime Yoshinofs world, especially
his studies and thoughts. Most parts belong to the introduction to his
study results. He would like to preset his activities, his targets and
his proposals for the future society as well. He may confess his personal
feeling for the life a little.The site is still under constructing step
by step and it will take much time until it is completed. Yoshino begs
you for your warm understanding and observing.
Hajime Yoshino's current main study subjects are "Logical Jurisprudence"
and Artificial Intelligence in Law, which are closely related to each other.He
developed Logical Jurisprudence as a new logical theory of law in which
the viewpoints and methods of mathematical logic and logic programing are
applied intensively and thoroughly to law, in abstract as well as concrete
level. |
This logical theory of law has been applied to construct an artificial
intelligence of law and through this application activities the theory
itself has developed. This site will present you the theory in the near
future. As regards the study on artificial intelligence, Yoshino has organized
and guided Japanese Projects on Legal Expert System since 1985. He developed
legal reasoning systems: LES-1, LES-2, LES-3, LES-4 and LES-5. Recently,
he developed LES-6, LES-7 and LES-8. This site introduces you somehow to
the systems as well as the theories eveloped by him
