Farewell party held for international students

On July 17, a farewell party for international students was held at the IC International Commons (IC Commons) on the Yokohama Campus. 

The 50 or so participants were international students from the University of California, exchange students who came to study on the ISP program, and Meiji Gakuin students who helped support their student life in Japan. 

The international students, who had received certificates of completion of the program, were all smiles. They talked about memorable experiences in their student life in Japan, put their special talents on display in performances,

played a bingo game, and more. The party was brimming with fun and non-stop smiles from start to finish.

Though the international students will soon return to their home universities, we hope the friendships they made at Meiji Gakuin will continue long into the future. 

A welcome party is planned for the fall semester.

Each year many Meiji Gakuin students participate in the welcome party out of a desire to get to know international students and make lots of friends on campus.

We're looking forward to meeting all the new international students at Meiji Gakuin University.
