Newest Version of Official Promotional Film, Why Meiji Gakuin University? Tears and Laughter Among Friends, Released

Why Meiji Gakuin? aims to raise interest and admiration for the university through vivid portrayals of everyday life among its students.

The redesign of the university’s website in November 2014 featured videos in four categories: Your Link to the World, To acquire Study, Tears and Laughter Among Friends, and Standing by Other People.

Now a new version of the Tears and Laughter Among Friends video has been published.

Meiji Gakuin’s official dance circle Break Jam won the title of “Best Dance Circle in Japan” at the JDC Competition for both 2015 and 2017, and the video spotlights Kotaro Kitami, a second-year student in the Faculty of Law, as general representative of the group.

The video depicts typical student life, with scenes of students enthusiastically involved in their classes and talking casually with their friends. The scene of Break Jam dancing, showing the earnest faces and positions of Kitami and the other dancers, is a must-see.
