Notice of New ISP Partner Institutions (Romania and Vietnam)

The International Center has signed new student-exchange agreements with the two universities described below, which will serve as destinations for long-term study abroad through the International Student Program (ISP).

Study abroad at these institutions by Meiji Gakuin University students will begin in the fall semester of the 2018 academic year, and applications will be accepted starting in the fall semester of the 2017 academic year.

 

Romanian-American University (Romania)

Description: A private university founded with the aim of promoting the rich traditions of Romanian education and the educational values of American higher learning. The university is located in Romania’s capital, Bucharest, known as the “Little Paris” of Eastern Europe. Although it neighbors a commercial district that contains the Bucharest World Trade Center and an international exhibition arena, lushly green parks and quiet, upscale residential neighborhoods can also be found close by.

 

The University of Da Nang (Vietnam)

Description: A multi-disciplinary national university located in Da Nang, Vietnam’s third largest city. It consists of seven schools[mk1] , including the University of Economics, University of Education, and University of Foreign Language Studies, Japanese department offers Japanese-language education. It also has an extensive educational program in English, and actively accepts foreign students.

*Meiji Gakuin University has already been accepting students from the University of Da Nang for over ten years. However, thanks to the new agreement, Meiji Gakuin University students will now be able to study abroad at the University of Da Nang as well.
