Application requirements | |
(1) The candidate is required to have a Ph.D., or must be finishing a Ph.D. program by the end of March 2009. In an exceptional case, an application without a Ph.D. may also be considered if the applicant has a fully equivalent and demonstrated research and professional experience. (2) Although any nationality is welcomed, the candidate must have a reasonable command of Japanese language to conduct usual administrative matters. If the mother tongue of the applicant is the Japanese, it is desirable that he or she can teach courses also in English. |

1. Curriculum vitae with a photo and email address. 2. Proposed course syllabus to teach International Finance, to be printed on a two-page sheet. 3. List of publications. Indicate by a circle the most relevant three publications to the area of this recruitment, and indicate the top of the three by a double circle. 4. Reprints or copies of three most important publications. 5. Two letters of reference, either in Japanese or English. Each letter must be within one page. The submission of these letters are optional and may be omitted. 6. A one- or two-page cover letter by the applicant, outlining academic background, research interests, teaching abilities and an expression of interest in joining the Faculty of International Studies. For items 1and 3, a prescribed format must be used which can be downloaded from the website listed below. All the materials must be prepared in A4-sized papers except for item 4.
