Notice concerning classes and extracurricular activities with Typhoon No.21 approaching (follow-up)"
Typhoon No. 21 is forecast to approach the Kanto area in the early morning of Monday, October 23.
A strong wind warning has been already given to Tokyo 23 wards and the eastern part of Kanagawa Prefecture, and it is announced that it is likely to switch to a storm warning on Monday 23rd at 0:00 a.m. in Kanagawa and at 3:00 a.m. in Tokyo.
Classes of the 1st and the 2nd period are cancelled at Shirokane and Yokohama campuses because of strong wind and rain with typhoon No.21 and the confusion of transportation are expected on Monday, October 23. For your information, about those of the 3rd, the 4th and the 5th period, we will announce our decision if they will be held or not at 10:00 a.m. at that day.
Class cancellation measures will conform to the “Class cancellation standards for storm warning alerts, etc.” shown on MG DIARY page 13 and on the Port Hepburn menu.
The latest information concerning class cancellations will be notified on the university website and Port Hepburn.
