Teaching Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be required to teach undergraduate courses in: (1) The economy of South Asia or the economy of West Asia (Both in English and in Japanese)
(2) Studies in Agriculture & Food resources, Agricultural economics, Development economics or a related field (in English)


Required qualifications: The candidate is required to have a Ph.D. In an exceptional case, a candidate without a Ph.D. may also be considered if the applicant has an equivalent level of knowledge and has demonstrated research and professional experience.

2. List of publications. (Please circle three publications that are most relevant to the position’s area of specialization. Indicate the most important of the three with a double circle.)
3. Reprints or copies of the circled three publications. (Attach a summary in Japanese [about 1000 characters] for each of the three publications.)
4. A short essay in Japanese on the role of the teachers in college education (about 2000 characters).
