【Teaching responsibilities】
 The primary responsibility is a course on African Studies. In addition, the successful candidate will teach several
   small-class workshops/seminars and possibly introductory courses on social sciences. Although the main language of
   teaching is Japanese, the candidate should be able to offer one or more courses in English.

Qualifications

   Ph.D. or equivalent research expertise in areas related to the teaching responsibilities.
   High proficiency in Japanese is essential for teaching and administrative duties. A good command of English is required
 for educational purposes.

  (3) Single copies of the three circled publications, each with a summary of 500-1,000 words.
       (Please note: this summary is necessary in addition to the short synopsis in the list of publications.)
  (4) A statement on your teaching and research aspirations (approximately 1,000 words).
  (5) A syllabus for an undergraduate course on African Studies (30 class sessions of 90 minutes each).

【Selection Process】
 Shortlisted candidates will be invited to Meiji Gakuin Yokohama Campus for an interview and a demonstration class.
   The interview
   will be held on a weekend in late May or early June.
   The university will reimburse travel expenses to the interviewees.
