We're recruiting writers for MGU Student Creative English Journal!

Why don't you publish your own creative literature work in our journal? CROP, Creativity Rising Original Production, published by the English Literature Department every year needs writers.

ALL MGU STUDENTS are welcome!

Your work will be published online and in the paper magazine. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to show your creativity!

Our Policy

  1. Open to all MGU students and OB/OG (graduated within three years).
  2. Writing in ENGLISH only.
  3. Any form of original creative work is acceptable.
  4. No excessively violent or sexual descriptions.

Forms of Writing & Length of Submissions

  • Essay: ～2,000 words
  • Short Story: ～4,000 words
  • Poem: ～1,000 words
  • Other Original Work: ～2,000 words

All you need is your creative writing! You don’t have to write in perfect English. We advisers and editors will help you edit your work which helps your English skills improve, too!
