  • Reference Counter

    Come here for answers to your questions about using the library and searching for books and periodicals. The counter also handles procedures for graduate students and faculty members to borrow and return books and takes requests for inter-library loans from other universities.

  • Magazines

    Find weekly, monthly and other periodicals here for an easy way to access information about current events, culture and general interests.

  • Current Japanese Journals

    Issues from the current year, including the latest issues, are arranged alphabetically by periodical name.

  • Back Number Japanese Journals

    Contains issues of periodicals prior to the current year.

  • Reference Book

    Reference books available here include dictionaries, encyclopedias, anthologies of law texts, statistical references, white papers, bibliographies and more. Both Japanese and non-Japanese books are arranged by call number. These materials must be used only within the library.

  • On-demand Printers

    You can print from your PC or smart phone after setting up the devices. To use these printers, you need a MAIN account issued by Information Technology Center. There are two printers on the 2nd and 5th floors.

  • OPAC PC

    You can search our library's collection.

  • Legal research PCs

    These PCs can access databases of case law and legislation, as well as HTML versions of the latest issues of Yuhikaku’s legal journals.

  • University Publications Corner

    This area contains annals from the various academic departments, the university magazine “Shirokane Tsushin,” Guarantors’ Council magazine “San-San,” and other university publications.

  • Micro Reader Room

    You can browse and copy micro reels and microfiche. Please apply at the counter on the 2nd or 5th floor to reserve a reader.

  • Individual Research Rooms

    These individual rooms are for faculty members and graduate students. The rooms may be used for research and study that require the use of library books and materials. Inquire at the circulation counter on the 2nd floor about using a room.

    • Rooms cannot be reserved.
    • Computer station available in each room.
