  • Information (General Information)

  • Libra(Library Lounge)

    This is the entrance to the library, which is easy to use, like a café, whether alone or in groups.

  • MG BOOK SPOT Selection Corner

    MG BOOK SPOT" is located inside MG Café on the 1st floor of Building C. We offer a selection of easy-to-read books, including essays, photo books, and comics. Similar books are also available for loan at the “MG BOOK SPOT Selection Corner" in "Libra" on the 1st floor of the library.

  • Newspapers

    Major national and international newspapers for the ongoing month are available. Back issues are available on the B1F and B2F.

  • Magazines

    Sports and culture magazines are available for readers to enjoy in their spare time.

  • Main Hall

    Newly arrived books, course-related books, and MG corners related to Meiji Gakuin are located here. The open atrium and bookshelves invite you into the world of knowledge.

  • Service Desk

    This is the main counter for information on using the library and borrowing and returning books.

  • Reference Desk

    This is where you can ask questions about how to find books, gather information, use other libraries, etc.

  • OPAC PC

    The library collection can then be searched. This service can be accessed by anyone else.

  • Magazine Square

    Academic periodicals are also available. The back issues are located at B1F and B2F. DVD-priority PCs for legal journals and other materials are also available.

  • On-demand Printer

    Student IDs and MAIN accounts issued by the Information Center are required for the use of these printers. Users can upload the data to a dedicated site and print it on their PCs or smartphones. There are two printers on the first floor and one on the second floor.

  • Student Help Desk

    This help desk can be approached for questions and advice on how to use the library, on-campus Wi-Fi, PCs, printers, etc.. Student supporters provide easy-to-understand advice as peer support. The Help Desk is open during specific hours.

  • Diner Sofa

    This provides the feeling of a small private room, like a box seat in a family restaurant. A large table is ideal for group work using computers.

  • Group Table

    Group work can be performed using a projector or a whiteboard. Tables with casters are easy to move and can accommodate both, small and large groups.

  • Workshop Area

    An area where guidance and seminars can be held, using a projector and other equipment.Group work can also be conducted using whiteboards. Chairs with tables can accommodate small and large groups.

  • Study Area

    The area provides seating for six, with a large whiteboard on the wall. Ideal for brainstorming and idea-divergent meetings.

  • Café Corner

    A place where you can breathe and get fresh ideas. This is where people can refresh their minds and recharge their batteries. The area has vending machines with lids for beverages.

  • Copy Machine

    For the library materials, only. The machine cannot be used to copy personal material.

  • Course-related Books

    Books introduced to students by the faculty members in charge of the classes are also available. They are arranged in the Japanese syllabary order of faculty members' names. For in-library use only.

  • From High School Students to University Students

    We provide paperback copies of Japanese novels so that the students may acquire the Japanese language skills necessary to read technical books for university studies.

  • Newly Arrived Books

    Books that are new to the library. Books are available for checkout.

  • Career Support

    A wide range of books is available to help you plan your "careers."

  • MG Corner

    Books and materials show the history, progress, and activities of Meiji Gakuin.

  • Travel Books

    This section contains guidebooks on overseas and domestic travel.

  • Language Books (Japanese and Non-Japanese)

    This section contains a variety of language books, such as multi-reader books, movie script books, and reference books for language examinations.

  • Study Support

    There are books related to university studies such as report writing, presentations, and group work.

  • Mental and Physical Health

    This section contains books recommended by the Health Support Center and the Student Counseling Center.
