授業内容
We are seeking part-time instructors to teach required English courses for 1st- and 2nd-year students at our Yokohama campus. Courses aim to foster students’ real-world communication abilities through the integration of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Instructors will be responsible for designing a syllabus aligned with departmental guidelines in collaboration with faculty supervisors, assigning appropriate homework and activities, and conducting final assessments.
授業形式
· 14-week semesters
· Each class is 100 minutes
· Monday: Periods 2, 3 & 4 (1st and 2nd-year, full-year)
· Tuesday: Periods 4 & 5 (1st and 2nd-year, full-year)
· Thursday: Periods 3, 4 & 5 (1st and 2nd-year, full-year)
· Friday: Periods 3, 4 & 5 (1st and 2nd-year, full-year)
Applicants may be assigned up to 5 classes per week. Teaching on just one or two days is negotiable.

Several part-time positions available
待遇
Compensation: Based on Meiji Gakuin University’s regulations and policies.
Monthly salary per class: ¥28,000 to ¥31,500 (determined by the year of the applicant’s undergraduate graduation).
A commuting allowance is provided (with an upper limit).
Please note that social insurance is NOT included.
Term of Employment: The term is up to one year. Reappointment may be possible for up to five years in total.

応募資格
· A Master’s degree or higher in TESOL, Foreign Language Education, English and American Literature, English Linguistics, or a closely related field is required.
· A minimum of three academic publications in a relevant field.
· At least three years of experience teaching English at the university level, particularly in courses focusing on communication and integrated skills, conducted in English.
· A valid work visa for Japan (at the time of employment).
· Successful applicants will be asked to submit a copy of their academic certificates for verification after hiring.
